You can use any available client version you already have. If you already have a 5.8 client, you can use it directly once Aion Tempest 5.8 is available, so you don't need to keep the old 4.8 client unless you want to. If you currently have the 4.8 client, you can simply update/patch it to 5.8 through the launcher once the patch is released. There’s no need to download a completely new client if your existing client can be patched.
